45-70gov was too nice to ask.  What is a "pirate" gun in the G2 or encore?  Must be something new this year.

I have an 8" 45-70 barrel that was made by Bullberry for my G2 Contender.  Looks like one of those from Reeder.  It's very accurate, as long as you don't flinch!

Why would a person flinch when fireing a 8" 45-70?
Oh, except maybe for the substantial muzzle blast, extreme kick and muzzle flash!

Maybe flinch at the thought of the royal navy attacking?  I would. If I were a pirate. With just an encore.

Ah, got it.  Pirate guns.  The ones with the "R" (pronounced Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!)

Looks like fun. If I find me a G2, I might have to get one of those Arrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh barrels.

I have one in a 9" 41 GNR (44mag necked down to 41) I havent gotten to shoot it yet...but I will say this...It is one of the nicest looking custom barrels I have ever owned and Gary Reeder is a heckuva nice guy! He talked to me for almost an hour about the different calibers I was interested in. His stuff isnt cheap...but I believe it is worth it.

OH !!! Now I see once I looked at the pics. Nice pirate guns. I thought I was going to see something to shoot at Somali pirates with but I guess the Seal teams and some of the Navy boats have those.  ::) ;D ;)
