I've been seeing reference made to a WINCHESTER 1885 Highwall, NEW in .45-90 for BPC shooting?  Are these truly Winchesters or Brownings? I'm still looking for a Browning 1885, .45-90, 34-inch Creedmore. I wonder if Browning or Winchester will ever make another run of these pieces.  It sounds as though these were a limited run for Davidson's. Thanks

Just checked the Davison's web page & they have it listed for almost US $1600.00.

Looks likes the Browning Traditional Hunter series, except chambered for a .45-2.4" (AKA .45-90). Has a blade front & Marble's tang, & crescent butt plate, 34" bbl, & weighs in about 11#

I don't have it.

On either Yahoo or Google, I typed in "Davidson's" & looked for the web pages that are firearms related. It took me a little while, but I finally found it.

Only 350 or so Browning 45-90 Creedmoor rifles were made. The price is going up all the time on those in excellant condition. TexasMac is probably the person with the most knowledge on the Browning BPCR's and he regularly posts on this forum. Rbump
