What size rings do I need for a H&R youth model .223? Using a 3x9x40 scope.

Depends on the scope.

Bushnell- likely high because of the giant ocular ring.

Nikon, Leupold, Redfield- medium.

That's with a Burris Zee ring, that's all I use. Different manufacturers vary in size greatly.
