What really stinks is that you have to "Sign Up" to leave a comment beneath that (and most news network's) post.  One commenter said they should have tazed the guy while in the water.

I say the guy must have hailed the Cops with a, "Hey.  Don't taze me Bro!" and received compliance.

Isn't that the standard phraseology these days?

They just showed the moron on the news. He stole a 4wd with a trailer and mower on the back. The mower got lost somewhere. He hid between 2 barges and the cops hauled him out, he said he was freezing, GOOOOODDDD. POWDERMAN.

Don't really know if this guy was an Obama supporter, but it does appear that Obama supporters and crime go hand in hand. Obama supporters seam to have a knack for spending hard working tax payers money. Whether its through crime or at the voting booth.
