Hunting in Marshall County?
« on: May 02, 2012, 09:50:49 AM »
Hi:

Serious question. Although I have lived here a long time I really have no friends who know anything at all about hunting or where to hunt. I am from Muhlenberg County and hunted as a child.

Now as a middle-aged man I'm thinking of getting back into it. The issue is I have no idea where to hunt. I suppose I could just drive and look for promising areas and then stop and ask- if they can be found- the land owner's permission? I suppose I should mention an animal. . . Deer or Doves/Quail, Turkey, Rabbit, even Squirrel. I doubt they are even populated here but I would also like to go HOG huntin' once. :)

So, I suppose hunting in general with habitat commensurate with species, of course. Any ideas would be welcome.
