Hi Guys,

Would like an 8shooter but am scared to order one.
Have read alot of bad stuff about Taurus recently.
What do you guys think?

Do I pay my money and take my chances?

I've got one of the Taurus 8-shooters, a model 608. It's a helluva gun. It's extremely accurate. I hunt everything from squirrels to deer with it and it's never given me a problem. Plus, it's a blast to shoot with light .38's. Less recoil than a .22, it seems like.
Even without grocery stores, I won't go hungry.

As of right now I personally would not buy a taurus sight unseen. Chances are you would get a real shooter but the chance of getting a bad one is just as great. If you can, wait until one shows up in the gun shop so you can inspect it first hand.  :D
