Stevens 322A/Savage 340
« on: June 06, 2012, 03:49:34 PM »
Good Evening.  I spotted a post titled "342 savage 22 Hornet" from 2010 on Google but the photo enclosed is no longer present within that thread.  I have a Stevens 322A that was GIVEN to me for free and was told "It just doesnt cycle correctly".  Took it apart and see the sear spring is somewhat dangling there.  Can someone tell me how the sear spring is set within the trigger mechanism?  When viewing an exploded parts diagram for the Savage 340 its listed as # 48.  This old post above had a picture but is now gone.  Any assistance is appreciated.  THANK YOU!!!
