Fluid Film rust preventer

Has anyone tried this?  I was going to order EEzox and came across Fluid Film as an alternative, and I can get it at the local John Deere dealer.

They must be anti-gun  ::), they don't mention firearms in the lists, but it's listed in several testimonials.

Personally, I can't get Eezox locally either, but I can order it online, and I'd rather do that or use Breakfree CLP than use something that doesn't have any track record and may or may not work. Breakfree CLP is available lots of places, even in grocery stores!  ;)

I'm not a fan of CLP either. I was in the Army when they switched from RBC (Rifle Bore Cleaner) to CLP. CLP (Cleans, Lubricates, Protects), in my opinion, doesn't do any of the listed uses well. I like Slip 2000 products, especially their lubricant. Problem is the supply around here is hit or miss.

Fluid film is an excellent product , I drive heavy wrecker for a living and the company I work for buys the stuff by the pallet and it gets sprayed on everything does a great job at preventing rust every moving part gets a coat has definently cut maintance cost bu not allowing bolts and items from seizing . That all said I would only put in on a fire arm being put into long term storage as in several years and at that I think it would still soften the wood . So none will be used on my arm. I will stick to Rem oil for internal lube . I do use the extreme pressure grease from work on my Handi pivot pins . I filled a used pill bottle with it and it will last me years applying it with a Q-tip.
