looking at a PC4
« on: October 22, 2012, 12:30:02 PM »
Hi All,

I can buy a PC4 fairly cheap an want to know if parts are readily available for this gun.  Any comments about the performance of this gun would also be appreciated.

thanks

Magazines and scope rings will be easy to come by---don't think there were any aftermarket stocks for it though

Thanks for the replies.

I talked to Ruger Customer service in AZ regarding this PC4.  I specifically asked about the extractor, extractor pin and extractor spring.  Ruger does not carry these parts.  Brownells and Numrich do not have them either.  I decided to pass on the gun since Ruger has abandoned it even though it has only been out of production for 6 years.  Doesn't make me want to run out an buy a new Ruger either. :(
