Try a Swift #676 4-12X40AO.

There actually two inexpensive choices

One is real inexpensive is the daisy 4x32 from Wal-mart its surprisely held up on a number of springers and done well at it. It is one option.
Second option will cost more but not that bad. Fun suppily sells a 4x32 tech force airgun scope of very good quality that holds up well to spring guns and only costs $50 they also sell a 1 piece mount for $30 which holds the scope really well on the rifle. the gun and scope are an excellent match and have held up on more powerful guns than your 1000. You might as well stop buy the fun suppily yellow forum its a hotbead of great airgun info. Of all types and sizes and shapes as well as different powerplants. Its a good place come on over.
