accuracy of Gamo Rocket IGT? or alternative for price?
« on: May 22, 2012, 03:40:14 PM »
thinking of getting one of these. Any suggestions on this or an alternative for similar price? Currently have Stoeger which I am not happy with accuracy. Need to hit something like squirrels at 25 yards. under $200

give mike melick a shout at flying dragon air rifles. he can set you up something real nice at that price point. all guns he sells are inspected and/or tuned by him personally and he warranties them. a b25 would be perfect. i prefer the 22 caliber for squirrels but lots of guys use a 177 for the flatter trajectory. the b26 is also a good buy from him ;) i have five of the older gamos but the general opinion of experience airgunners is to stay away from the newer stuff. way over priced for what you are actually getting. there are some waaay better guns out there in that price range. mike is a great guy to deal with and he will take care of you before and after the sale!
