Lots of southerners around here, type real slow and generally they can understand us.  ;)
 
I'm from southern Mn. Probably tell from the accent, don't cha know. Like I said go slow for a while, they'll catch up.

I spent a couple years in Duluth way back in the 60's. Went back up a couple years ago, sure enough pretty country.
