 This is the same bunch that had their panties all in a wad when the retired woman CIA operative kinda got outed, but she was no longer working , was nice and safe in the US and someone from the Bush admin only mentioned her name after the press had already been writing stories.

  Right Duk..I assumed military officer..but makes no difference, still same boss.  In fact, I tend to think a military type would be less inclined to blow a cover..unless told to do so.
   I just doesn't make any sense to announce where, when and why we have clandestine operations going on..too much danger for our troops who are involved.  We of the general public do not need this info..so why endanger the troops ?

Following an article from AFP stating that U.S. forces parachuted into North Korea, AFP is now reporting the U.S. military is denying that any U.S. troops parachuted into the country:

The US military Tuesday vehemently denied a media report that special forces had been parachuted into North Korea on intelligence-gathering missions, saying a source had been misquoted.Current affairs magazine The Diplomat quoted Brigadier General Neil Tolley, commander of special forces in South Korea, as saying soldiers from the US and South Korea had been dropped across the border for "special reconnaissance" missions.But Colonel Jonathan Withington, public affairs officer for US Forces Korea, said some reporting of the conference had taken Tolley "completely out of context".
