Paul told me it got loaded down with "bots", whatever those are.

I believe the bots were sent by the same one that got us here a few years ago.
He sent a fake site to go to for Trapperman yesterday,upon arrival there was no doubt it was him. So he has access to all trapperman members e-mails.
If you get an e-mai saying t-man has moved,delete it.

He is also sending out PMs from this site to harrass members in Paul's name and in other people's names.

He will get his eventually. He does this crap on other types of sites too. There are a lot of people who greatly dislike him. I suspect that some of these people are not well connected to reality.

I have had quite a few also. Including the you are banned ones.
I am surprised he can take that much time off from being a complete loser on the rest of the animal love sites to fool with this many password requests. Maybe he is too dull to understand that it is no problem to delete these emails.
Then again, when you are sub-human and think you are an animal, you have to have a few screws loose.

Where are thes PMs coming from? Are you talking PMs thru the GBO system or from the site you mention that is down? If from here from what user name are they coming? If from another site not my business.

Bill I just got another 800--they are coming from graybeards. He got our e-mail adresses and is uing our names to request a forgotten password.

OK so not really PMs but rather e-mails from the GBO server to your e-mail address of record to let you know someone is trying to change your password. I got 850 such attempts at mine over night.

I'm not sure if the server has forced everyone to change to the new stronger password protection now required of all new accounts or not. That is eight digits and must have both upper and lower case letters plus digits.

If your password isn't at least that strong I suggest you change it to make it stronger. Mine is MUCH stronger as getting my account would allow full access.

Right now GBO is under a full blown hack attack. Matt is working on it. Our safety measures are very strong and we should be OK especially now that we are aware the attack is underway.

The IP address being used is from California and Matt has reported it to their abuse line. It has also been banned from access to our server.

Cedric has to be one of the biggest losers in the world. I don't even understand how someone's brain can be so backwards. Then again there are a couple of other classes of people I feel the same way about. I hope he ends up in jail over this ordeal.

I haven't received any out of the ordinary emails today. Hopefully the problem is resolved, and there they are. As I was typing this I received fifty more all at once. I check my email on my phone why I am traveling and its a pain deleting all these because I can't multiselect. Oh well back to work for me. Have a good day everyone.

Any of you that get any more of these e-mails copy the IP address that likely is in the next to last line in the e-mail and post it here. I have banned access to the site from all IPs in those I've gotten and if you are getting them now it must be someone else doing the same thing. I can ban them only if you post them.

I haven't received any since about 1 pm. My email is so bogged down by them though that as soon as I empty my inbox it fills right back up. Best I can tell so far i got 100-200 per minute in the noon hour today.

No one in the government cares. If it were government computers or those of a bank or some huge corportation they might but for a site like this they really don't care. We've tried before to get the FBI involved and they won't.
