Beaumont rifle

I just bought a Beaumont rifle dated 1876. It's in excellent condition but I have one major concern about it, it's blued. I looked on the Dutch Military museums web site and the Kolonial model looks like it may have been blued. Are there any experts out there who could help be out with this? I'll post pictures tomorrow.

The only Beaumont Rifles I have ever seen or handled were blued.  I think if you Google 'Beaumont Rifle' you should be able to get quite a bit of information. 
S.S:  I think they might be too expensive to reproduce, but if there was someone out there who could/would reporduce the P-08 Luger or the 1896 Mauser we might find some of the more unique rifles like the Beaumont being offered.

I've got one.. only rifle built backwards.. coil springs in magazine box and V spring in the bolt handle.. Mine is an 1873,  bore is excelent, slugs .453.. loaded some .454 colt 255 gr lead slugs over ? gr of 5744.. don't recall how much..groups about 2" at 50 yds..Dies and 20 brass cost me more than I paid for the rifle.. oldest rifle I own...didn't see the pictures....
