Kimber poly frame Pro ten bp 2 ??
« on: March 29, 2004, 10:45:00 AM »
I was wondering if  anyone had any thoughts or comments on these handguns?  I   was thinking of buying one for carry, and plinking at the range.  Does the poly frame hold up, compared to a metal frame model? I have a Glock 23 right now and use to carry a Sig 229. Just have an itch to try a single action for a while.       Good shooting all !!!!!       Kevin

I had a BP TEN II they said at Kimber I had a double charge fired through it. It ruined the 45 beyond repair. I don't know if the Polymer frame is as strong but I can't help but wonder if it was a steel frame gun even with a double charge would it have been ruined beyond repair. I don't know what my next 45 will be but as of now i'm leaning toward the Combat Commander Colt
