i haven't seen this in here - maybe i haven't looked enough.
if you've ever seen the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek"
you may remember the young man travis crabtree and the
little homemade trapping boat he had. i've tried to find
some plans to build the same boat, or as close as possible,
i've not had any luck so far. as near as i can tell, his boat
was built with regular 8 ft. wood, and not scarfed or joined
as far as length. i've had some folks send me different plans,
but they are always a pirouge , or canoe or the like.
i've looked online quite a bit as time permits for a long time
on different boat builders sites and the like with no luck.
if anyone remembers this boat from the show, and knows
where some plans might be available, please let me know.
