Thanks All.
If the rain holds off I’ll try it again this afternoon, there are a few more
to get.
Woodchukhntr, I am hunting in the Hart of South Central Kentucky.
We have it one way or the other, a lot of coyotes and very few ground hogs
or very few coyotes and a lot of ground hogs, this year its hogs.
I’ve only seen one coyote this year and did not get a shot at it, maybe next time.
Thanks

I'm in central NY.  When I started 'chuking in the mid 60's, they were plentiful.  Now they are generally few and far between.  This is partly due to changing land use, changing farming practices, and coyotes.  Back then, coyotes were not around at all, and now they are overunning some areas.

Good Job! That is a beautiful rifle, looks like you've got it dialed in! Do I see the end of a shooting sticks set-up in one pic? Looks like you're set up for long range sniping, congrats....Scott B.

Hay All
Don’t you just hate it when things you have to do take the place of things you want to do?
Oh well, at least my grandson got one out of the garden yesterday with a 12ga. shotgun.
Hopefully I’ll be back at this evening.

Upnut the shooting sticks were made when I first started deer hunting years ago.
I made them long so I could sit in a blind with a good rest, they work well for the way I hunt pigs now with shots anywhere from 15/20 yds to 250 yds. Close shots are young and dumb pigs, longer shots are adult pigs.
A Pic of garden pig.

Thanks

Hay All.
As of today Total of 24, grandson thinks I should save the rest for seed.
He may be right, but I saw a blond groundhog yesterday that I’ve got to try and take.
Wish me luck.

Thanks

Hay All.
Still no blond pig, but I think this one is related.
Total 26 to date, they have gotten a little more skittish for some reason     ;)
Ha-ha.
Thanks
