RCBS X die
« on: June 24, 2012, 02:00:02 AM »
Has anyone here used the RCBS X die?  A friend just ordered one, (hasn't arrived yet).  It apparently prevents the case from getting longer by engaging the mouth during resizing.  I also read somewhere that it was suggested to initially trim the case 0.010" below spec prior to initial reloading, i.e. 1.740" for .223Rem.  I was wondering if anyone here has used one, and what you think about it.

I've got one for my .243 and have no problems with it. It seems to work as advertised.
