Mkiii government or mk10?

I have a mkii stainless 10 inch in excellent shape and a guy wants to trade me his NIB blued mkiii government for it, who is getting the better deal? I hear the mkiii government is rare.

Not sure really. Wish you'd just sell the 10" to me tho.

I have owned 2 mark 3's both had problems. I would not trade unless I was going to sell the mark 3. I would still have to have boot. That's my opinion for what it is worth.

Keep the MK10 and don't go with the MKIII. Have read a lot of threads on Rimfire Central about annoying problems with the MK III.  A long time ago I had a MK II 10" barrel and like a dummy traded it.  I finally found another two years ago and picked it up.  It is by far the most accurate .22 pistol I have shot. I won't make the same mistake like before.  This one is a keeper to be passed down to one of the daughter's or possibly the grandson.
