Other than what is on SIG's website, what can anyone tell me about this pistol with regards to accuracy, reliability, etc? TIA

I have a .22 conversion for my 226. It is nearly identical to the one for the 220. I got it shortly after they came out a few years ago. It has an aluminum slide with a steel breach insert. Goes on just like the 220/226 top half. Mine does not activate the slide stop after the last round, so you can accidently dry fire it on an empty chamber, but that may have changed. It has a roll pin to limit firing pin travel, but it tends to get damaged enough from dry firing to have the firing pin strike the chamber mouth and ding it. To take care of that, I found a guy who makes slightly longer magazine followers that will hold the slide back after the last shot. Mine took a couple of hundred rounds to break in. At first it cycled in what appeared to be slow motion with standard speed stuff. It wasn’t malfunctioning, just appeared slow. After a few hundred rounds, it cycles fine with everything. Mine is quite accurate as well. It makes a great understudy gun for my 226.
