On my Son-in-Law's Savage 270 Winchester, I looked for awhile for 2 piece scope mounts that would not only fit the scope but would allow the scope to be placed far enough back so you didn't have to crawl the stock to get a good sight picture. In frustration, I finally went to the Warne 1-piece tactical mount with multiple cross-slots for either Weaver or Picatinny-type scope rings. This allowed the necessary flexibility of mounting the scope for me. However, my SIL is short with a corresponding short reach and I still had to have the stock cut 1" to fit him, even with a Leupold 6 x 36 fixed power scope with over of 4" of eye relief. You may not have that problem.
The Warne 1-piece tactical mount does somewhat restrict access to the magazine from the top, though it does not in any way interfere with ejecting rounds. However, my SIL's 270 has a detachable clip, so this was no issue for him.
Good luck in your quest. I almost went crazy trying to find the right scope mount for this rifle but I am glad I did (find the right mount that is). This has got to be the most accurate across the board rifle that I've personally ever shot. The accutrigger also is a nice touch.
