I just replaced the spring in mine and it made it a lot better. But I'm going to take it apart again and try and smooth the sear and hammer surface as it has any easy pull but breaks a little hard.

That is a weird looking sear IMO.I came to the conclusion that I would be better of not to mess with it. I could see just a little bit of "wrong" turning the trigger into trash. I'd be willing to install a Basix but trying to ship one over the border is darn near impossible.

Suggest you just Google  Axis trigger job.  You should find a post that clarifies what you can do to improve its trigger pull.  Me, I bought the rifle when it was called the EDGE and figured out how to replace the factory trigger spring with a lighter one (bought at a local hardware store) and then polished the trigger sear notch area and the piece that engaged it.  Ended up with a trigger pull around 2 1/2 to 3 Lbs.
