It really does not matter if all of the listed things are true or if just some of them are true. The importance is that it is abnormal behavior for a government of the people and that is true. And the question is why?


In my mind, all are true, but that is irrelevant to the discussion.


I have stated my reason. That a collapse is coming and the government, in their way, is very concerned.
Now, why do I think a collapse is coming. It is because you cannot repeal the economic laws of nature. You cannot consume more that you produce, at least not for long. And you can only do it then if someones else produces more and consumes less. But they soon grow tired of this arrangement and that is when interest rates ascend. Then the debt obligation becomes inserviceable and an economic collapse begins.

. OK. But a couple of serious questions. Is gold dot a common LEO kind of round, or any hollow point for that matter?   How many Dept of Homeland security personnel are there anyway?....so we can get a ratio of #number of rounds per armed DHS guy or gal.?   I'm thinking about 1000 rounds/agent every few years is enough to keep this Dept in practice and loaded up.   What do you think.?

Gold dots are THE most issued LEO round. I would be quite surprised if a LEO agency anywhere approved anything BUT hollow points for duty.

As to 1000 rds every few years try more like a couple three thousand every YEAR if the officer wishes to maintain top proficiency.

I thought this was a lot of ammunition when I first read about it, but DHS encompasses many agencies, including border patrol, etc.  The ammunition doesn't concern me that much, it the other stuff that does.

The Geneva Convention, the agreement that most covers military rules of war and stipulates the use of FMJ ammo, has absolutely NOTHING to do with law enforcement within any given country.

Then, the use of FMJ ammo in urban enviroments causes some folks concern regarding over penetration, with non-involved citizens beyond the engagement area possibly being hit by a round that passed through.

Questions: Those of you who practice concealed carry......do you use FMJs? Or do you use HPs/SPs? Why do you use what you do?
