"I normally shoot a lot of 44 cal in same weights as above exect the Nosler is 250 instead of 260. I prefer the 44's because of the higher BC. Is this a valid reason or because of the speed and distance of BP is the BC a washout?'
Certainly NOT a washout. I always try to use the bullet with the best bc, all things being equal(accuracy and bullet construction). A better bc gives more energy downrange, less wind drift, and better trajectory with no other changes.
