Today, when I shoot serious sporting clays, a 30" Beretta Teknys handles the duty.  It is a fine gun and it shoots where I look.  Of its most recent 500 targets, 473 were "Xs."

Sometimes, when the game is a bit more social than serious, I like to heat up this piece of joy.  Can't remember if I've posted some photos here before so I thought I would share it.

It is what is thought to be a 1932 Browning Superposed (ser. no. 55xx), 32" "non-crossfire" rib (small step rib) that has been completely reworked; it weighs in at 7 lbs. 9 oz.  I found it in this condition and because the former owner needed to sell, and it fit me well, it came home with me.  It is a fixed choke gun with the under tube being .13 and the over being .29 - about perfect for double trap and works exceptionally well for sporting too.  The metal was engraved by Angelo Bee and is signed in three locations.  I still have not been able to track down the stock maker, but the wood is exceptional to say the least.

Enjoy the freshened 1932 Browning.  It is a very solid performer, just like it was intended to be.  Kind of like FN Belgium metal meets Italian wood - but it shoots good!

I'm green with envy! I cant decide which is prettier, the metal or the wood. Beautiful piece
