Shooters & Bikers
« on: July 06, 2012, 11:27:27 AM »
If this has been done recently -- sorry, I missed it.

I know Curtis has a couple of beautiful bikes that I'm sure he won't mind sharing photos of again. How many other guys and gals out there ride bikes as well as shoot?

I couldn't get my Mrs. on two wheels, so I had to settle for a Can-Am Spyder. I know it ain't a real bike, but it sure is fun. Got a hankerin' for a Star Striker, or a Triumph Thunderbird, but neither will happen any time soon.

Let's see some good lookin' bikes, and even a couple of ugly ones!

While shopping for a bike a few weeks ago, I stopped by Yamaha dealer and for saw the Can-Am for the first time. Interesting.

Didn't buy anything there, instead found a pristine 2003 FZ1 on Craigslist. Fun, fun, and more fun!

Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Took a ride from Wake Forest to Madison yesterday on the FZ1; first trip since getting title in my name. This thing is.. fun. Last bike I had was an 83 Suzuki GS1100... engine tech went a good ways in 20 years. You never have to downshift on this bike, one the highway... just roll it, and it bolts. I let it have its head for a few seconds once, and saw an indicated 135 in no time... no drama, nice and stable. I'm likin' it.

For any LEO types reading, this is strictly fiction.
