rings and bases

got a t/c encore in 35 rem should a go with a 6 hole scope mount??? been thanking about about sending it to SSK fore a 6 hole scope mount.. got a burris double dovetail 1 pcs base  the scope will not stay sight in. the rings and bases are tight...  the scope shot good on my 7mm BR.  been all over with the 35 rem...wood  3-4 burris zee rings and a  weaver base  help???  need to get a better scope.. local dealer had a burris 2-7x32 handgun scope  hate to buy a new scope and have the same problem...  thanks WORM

What scope do you have now? I broke a Bushnell 2-6 trophy on my 12" 35 Rem brake'd Contender. The adjustments won't hold and it shoots all over the place too. Mine was in the Redfield 3 ring base and ring set. That barrel now has my TC 3x scope on it and it shoots fine.

I have a Bushnell Elite 2-6x on my 375 JDJ barrel, and so far, it's been fine. That scope was recommended to me by several different members who have them on JDJ's.

bushnell 2x6.. got a 2x6 bushnell on a 44mag does fine on it.. going to replace the 2-6 with a 1.1/4 -4.. might put the 2-6 on the 35?? redfield 3 ring is that a good ring mount combo???  the 35 had a t/c 2.5 7 on it win i got it last about 100 rounds .. had 3 weaver rings and base's on it  thanks WORM
