Loose leather shellholders
« on: July 16, 2012, 03:50:34 AM »
I have a couple of leather belt shellholders and after a while they loosen up to the point that the shells hardly stay put. They don't fall through the shellholder but while handling the belt, such as putting the rig on or taking it off, they fall out of the shellholder. Anybody ever come across a way to tighten these things up. Thought ot soaking in water and letting dry to see if the leather would shrink but thought I'd ask around first.

Good idea but I would load them with MT brass so they would only shrink to the size of the brass.  Jim
