Dont see how he could have kept the phone in his hand but that is beside the point even if texting did not cause this wreck it is very dangerous.

Don't know, I've heard that with sudden death that muscles contract sharply so the fingers may well have gripped the phone in that manner. POWDERMAN.

I keep a wary eye for folks that use these devices when they drive---actually, they aren't driving--they are just riding in a car that is without a driver---they have no idea about the goings on around the.

There have been several teens die while texting and driving around here. Sad. POWDERMAN.

     I have 2 good friends who have lost loved ones while using their phones while driving, one lost a son the other lost a grandson and both 20 yrs old, young adults but both dead because of a phone call or text that could have waited.   Jim
