TAINAN, Twn. (KMOV.com/UK Daily Mail) -- A teenager who reportedly played an online video game for 40 hours straight collapsed and died while leaving an internet café.
UK Daily Mail online reported that Chuang, 18, who has only been identified by his surname, rented a private room at the café in Tainan, Taiwan and played Diablo 3 for nearly two days. He reportedly did not eat during this time.
According to reports, an employee at the café found Chuang sleeping with his head on a desk in the rented room. The employee woke Chuang up.
After waking, Chuang took a few steps, but collapsed, according to United Daily News.
Chuang was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later. An autopsy is being performed to determine the victim’s cause of death.
