45super Longslide - contd

It looks like things have finally worked out with the Longslide (caspian slide, Nowlin barrel) that I started back in April.  I had a chance to chronograph the loads with a 240xtp over power pistol at 1100fps.  The extra barrel apparently makes a difference. It groups within an inch at 50ft as well.  Now time to practice. Thank you to everyone who gave technical input.  Too bad that this round doesn't get more use.  It seems that it has a lot to offer.

the reloading tables show the 460 Rowland to be quite a bit faster. You might try another barrel in that chambering. The standard 460 Rowland uses a 5" barrel with a 2 chamber compensator. You might need to go up 2-4lb over what the 45 Super uses with your 6" barrel/slide combo.

What you have done looks really good. I want to do the same thing to my Para 14-45.
