1 week turned to 2 week shut down!

well that one week shut down turned to two. Waiting on the return of a gun that Brian has put his magic touch on. I am sure they are backed up with just getting back monday. Going to 100 today probobly a little to hot for load developement anyway.

That would explain why I call H&R and no one can tell me what barrels they have in stock.  Keep getting the same story from differnt folks.    I have asked what barrels they have in stock and I get we are out of stock call back in a week or so we get stock every three weeks.  I have even asked for spacific part numbers it is hard to beleive they have no hornets, 223, 204 or 30-30's.  I realy hope someone come back to work that can help.

I gotta call in the next couple days to get a .223 barrel fitted.  Hopefully they can tell me what they have.

i called last week for a 35 whelen barrel,  they checked the stock,  got a return number in less than 5 mins.  my action was recived on saturday and checked in on monday and is awaiting repairs.

Called Tuesday and they told me that they were out of .223 barrels. Would be a month before they get any.

rifle was shipped back to me on friday,  recived on monday and shipped on friday.  I was told over the phone 6 weeks im really happy with the fast turn around.  Now if it would cool off a little i will get a chance to shoot.

Try the classifieds, I know 223 barrels pop up there every so often.  You could also try asking Oldsoldja, if he has a spare 223 available.

I do appreciate Brian sending me a message that the .223 barrels are now back in stock. But in the interim, have already bought a 2m HAM radio rig for the Jeep since I thought it would be a month or so. 
Sigh............... Next payday then.
