new 700 ADL .223 Great rifle !!

Just got a new  model 700 in .223 with the  pre mounted  4 x 12  scope.  Found this ADL gun at my local Walmart for 450.00 out the door, very happy with it.    The trigger is good and the rifle will shoot a 1 inch group.  I may look around for a wood stock and up grade at some point.      REMINGTON 700 'S ARE A GREAT RIFLE  !!!!!                  FBC

I did the same thing you plan on doing with your Walmart .223.  They are great rifles.

I got mine in 308 from dicks and with the Rem.$50 rebate and the dick's sign up for credit card walked out with the gun for $400.  I can put 4 out of 5 shots in a 1" square with reloads.  very happy for the money.  would like better optics though.

  This is great to hear... Although I didn't buy mine at WM, just ordered a varmiter in .243...haven't bought a new Rem. for 20 years..usually by used and barrel up what I want...

Thats 5 Sierra 65 gr Gamekings fired consecutively at 100 yards. The one outside the group is another load I was playing with. Dont know why. Tinkerer at heart I guess. I almost hate for Swampy to see this one.

At this moment I own a new Ruger M77, two Winchester Model 70s, and a Model 700. I've owned many of all three.  You can't beat a Remington 700.  Even the entry level 700s are tack drivers.  Congrats
I dropped my Walmart ADL into a used CDL stock and put some CDL bottom metal on it.  It will shot 1/2 MOA with factory ammo.  It's wearing a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 in Tally rings right now.
