The best predictor of future performance............ is past performance.
Smokeless is only a passing fad!

This Romney is a perpetual pander. When (Fat chance) Obama is out of the way he'll no longer need the more gullable members of the gun community and will immediately go left to court the ex Obama vote.

Just like he did as Massachusetts governor

Having been a former member of the "redundancy club" I understand these questions and fears after a person has been outed on his, or her stance on this issue or others. The question as to which side of the fence the Mormon is on, really doesn't matter nears as much as the question of: What are you, yourself gonna do, if they come for your guns?
I look at the "endless" threads on Obama, and his evil deeds past, present, and future, or his "latest leak" of his real self.
The bottom line to me at least, is: You have identified the problem, and the person causing the problem. You have identified what type of person your dealing with. Why discuss it to the point that many folks whom agree with you, get sick of hearing about it, and walk away, wanting nothing else to do with it.
The Mormon is what he is, and has always been. On this CC, and I are in full agreement. The question that is most important is: What are YOU? Will you "hand'em over" when they come callin, or will you say: You ain't gettin mine!
Everyone has voted out of fear for so long this is where we ended up. Live with it, or do something entirely different than you've ever done at the voting both in your personal life time. What is that? Actually vote for the BEST MAN for a change. That! And that only will turn this country around. If it can be turned around, and I have my doubts. Some here will no doubt disagree with me. I don't care.
You may all go to hell, I will go to Texas. Davy Crockett

Romney is on the side of the fence which will get the most votes... just what side that is, he's trying to suss out....
Jesus said we should treat other as we'd want to be treated... and he didn't qualify that by their party affiliation, race, or even if they're of diff religion.

Folks are fooling themselves if they think that Republican means pro-gun. Eisenhower was the last one that did not support gun control in some form or fashion while in or out of office. Bush jr almost made it but he supported D.C. in D.C. v. Heller.
The GOP didn't learn much from supporting McCain and his liberal slanted "maverick" record. Many folks are disgusted with Obama's job performance. But that doesn't mean much since it doesn't matter who a person votes for. The electoral college decides who is president anyhow, not the people.

The libs in congress must be happy to know that no matter who wins this election they will get a president who is willing to sign another assault weapons ban.

My read is this:  no matter who wins the presidency we must take and hold congress.  BOTH houses of congress!
