Who Does The Easy Open Conversion

I called T/C yesterday to find out about getting the easy open conversion done on an older frame. The less than friendly, less than helpful guy I spoke to said that as of about 6 months ago, T/C was no longer doing the conversion, and he didn't know of anyone that did.

Does anyone know of a COMPETENT gunsmith that is doing the conversion ?

I'm reasonable certain that GBO Sponsor SSK Industries can as likely can GBO Sponsor MGM. Call them and ask. If neither of them will do it I suspect you're out of luck getting it done. Both specialize heavily in the Contenders and Encores and unless it's a parts issue both have the ability I'm sure.
