I bought this cannon from a disabled veteran who makes cannons as a hobby. This is the second cannon I have bought from him. His cannons are works of art and are massive pieces of brass. No worries about the wall thickness on these babies.
To operate it you pull the pin on the top and remove the back end, load a shell, reassemble, and pull the lanyard. The hammer swings up and strikes the firing pin.
