A couple of yrs ago a punk in Lou broke in a house and was beating the owner when the owners GF came in with her Lou slugger bball bat. They chased him with her still swinging that bat. He had several broken ribs, arm, nose, and bruises all over when the cops rescued him. I love stories with a happy ending. POWDERMAN.

This is toooooo funny! . I LOVE the sound of that PING!


When I was a kid, my uncle was staying with us while on leave. He heard a burglar trying to squeeze through our kitchen window of all things.  The garage being right by the kitchen, my uncle quietly went in and then came back out with snow chains of all things and swiftly wrapped the links across the burglars head while he was half way through the window.


I can still in my head see and hear that guy rubbing his melon and cussing out my uncle as he ran out of the yard and into the street.


Criminals must have some hard heads to take multiple shots from a bat or tire chains and still be conscious.

I used to hate that sound, preferring the sound of a wooden bat hitting a baseball but I now have new found appreciation for "Ping!"
