That would be a nightmare to keep running!  Even IF it went into production, it would fall into the near useless category, novelty gun at best. I'd have to pass.

There is a video on the arsenal arms site showing it being fired.  Kind of cool. Shell casings ejecting from both sides of the thing in different directions.

Talk about taking stopping power to a new level.  Two shots at once?  Wow.

As I mentioned before when it was first advertised - gives new meaning to the phrase 'one shot stop'......

I really think this was just an gunsmithing exercise to display the smiths talent and ability. It is nothing special as far as a gun fighting pistol goes. Frankly I prefer my Para 14-45.

For price I suggest you quadruple the price of the .50 caliber 1911. The Model 1 starts at just shy of $3K. Or perhaps call Fuchs and Szecsei and get a price estimate on one of their double barrel magazine rifles. I would guess they start around $20,000;and get this, they are made in CANADA.

Greetings!  Thanks for the reply. Where did you get the price?

The answer is simple:  Because they can.  I agree it's a weird idea, but I would love to shoot one even if I would not buy one.

I just guessed at the price range. It involves the casting of the frame, or CNC milling from a block of metal.  Then the reverse or left-hand slide would jack the price up more.

I agree with 270, because they can, which is a much more elegant way of saying what I did. They are showing off his (their?) skills. And those are formidable.

Shooting it would be interesting. If they were demonstrating it I would pay $5 to run 2 full mags through it.

I remember Armalite being at Rio Salado range as a vendor at one of the major matches. After the match you could pay a nominal fee to shoot one of the display models. Most went for shooting the .50 BMG rifle. I wanted to try the AR10 but it was late and I was tired.

It would be fun to have all of the 'fun guns' at the range at the same time so you could try them all out at one time. Let me see: a .50BMG, a .408 Chey-Tac, the double .45ACP,  ooh a full magazine of .375 H&H through the Fuchs and Szecsei double rifle, a 200 rd. belt through the M249 and an M60 and oh what else?

OOPS sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread.
