Dog vs Porcupine the porcupine is usually the winner. All they try to do is escape, the dog just can't leave well enough alone and must pursue this beast. Without medical attention of some sort the dog will get infected and can't eat due to quills in its mouth. It is a horrible death.
 
Dogs do what they do, can't seem to stop them from it.

Most dogs would probably have taken the first batch of quills as a substantial clue that it should run away. Apparently spikey didn't take that clue and kept harassing the porkypine. I don't see how it would catch that many quills unless it kept after the porky.

My old puppy hound caught five in the snout one day, and that taught him to avoid porkys thereafter.
