Sending In Receiver for a Re-Barrel
« on: August 19, 2012, 03:09:35 AM »
I currently have a handi in 45-70 that I have used in our primitive weapons deer season for several years.   We can now use calibers down to 35, so I would like to send in for a 35 whelen rebarrel.   I called this past Friday, and the price and turnaround time seem very fair.   I have heard that they will do a little trigger tune up job on request.  Is this still true? and what is the charge for this if so?     Also, any tips on getting the Whelen up and rolling.  I will be handloading for it.
Thanks!

See Ilion's trigger policy in the FAQs sticky, they still do them, but may charge depending on the current pull weight.
