ive got a set of atb monarchs. There not 1000 dollar binocs but in the under 500 buck class there hard to beat. Mine are 8x42s and i payed i think 200 bucks or there abouts for them. Last year I bought a 400 dollar pair of minox 10x40s and in my opinion the optics in the nikons are better.
