I have the opportunity to pick up a Glock 19 for $379. Used but in VGC. Is this a good price? Two 10 rd clips, speed loader.

Jim,
Around here there are not a lot of used Glocks on the market. The ones that are available are usually police trade-ins. When the depts change calibers or size they sell off the old guns. They usually go for about $350-$375. So the price doesn't sound out of line. If it is a police trade-in it was probably fired about 200 rounds a year. You'll never wear it out, and the 19 is my favorite size in the Glock.

Good Price For A GLOCK 19?

:)  Yes, the price is fine.  The only question I have is; 'Is it a first or second generation pistol?'  Second generation guns have an improved extractor, along with a loaded chamber indicator, as well as finger grooves on the frame.

Don't forget the light rail on the second gen. Glocks--Don't know how many people us them---but---. Personally don't like the finger grooves. I modify the grips on mine anyway which gets the ill-fitting (for me anyway) things out of the way!
