is that real or a photo shopped pic ?
it does not look there is enough notches for the hand to rotate each chamber for the right timing ?
and the caliber would have to 1/2 of the original or the cylinder would have to 2x the size , right ?

Not a LeMat cylinder, too many shots. You got us curious now!
I'd think the hammer would have to have two possible positions on the face to strike the inside or outside row of caps.

Actually, the hammer could just have a tilting face that went up or down. Like the savage 24 series. They had one of these revolvers on Sons of Guns that had like 20 or 21 shots if memory serves.

Interesting. Two hammers, two triggers. Hmmm...

I believe that's a cylinder from a Walsh revolver made by Winchester.

Those Walch revolvers were spooky! While there are indeed 12 nipples....there are only the regular 6 chambers in the cylinder.
You loaded each cylinder chamber twice! the tight fitting ball was "supposed" to seal the rearmost charge when the front one went off. one of the 12 nipples led forward thru the cyl. wall to forward charge. This was one revolver that had better be kept clean..and pray that cap flash didn't set off a rear charge!
