So with the election results being common knowledge by now, and the question of to get the permit or not seemingly unresolved, I thought I'd dredge this up and ask.


evidrine, just to be nosey, what did you decide?  I hope you have elected to get your permit (not for political reasons) 


IMO it is worth getting, and worth keeping.  Peace of mind in turbulent times.

I pretty much made my mind up before the election. Unfortunately, the class was rescheduled to a later date and that date conflicted with my schedule. I am to understand that there is another one coming up before the end of the year and I will try my best to make that one. I am still curious to find out what will actually change come next year.

I'm thinking it will look like Clintons ban, only more restrictive, and possibly more aggressive.  The twist this time is the petitions from all 50 states to secede from the union.  There are enough people P.O.'d and desperate that this could get very touchy.


I applaud your decision.  The process took me 7 months to complete due to schedule conflicts at nearly every turn.
