Need a recommendation in TN

I just got home from Afghanistan yesterday and found a permit for an ML hunt at Catoosa WMA in TN on the table. I'm stationed in NC and won't have a chance to scout before I head over for the hunt.


Can anyone offer suggestions on where to hunt during the NOV 15-17 hunt? I'll have a NULA 209 muzzleloader and a TreeSaddle sling stand so I can hunt as mobile or static as I need to. I just need help narrowing down an area so I can get imagery and maps.

can't help with specific location, but get an aerial map, and look for pockets of thick cover, and areas where woodland borders fields or clearings, and go from there.  When I hunt unfamiliar ground my ideal setup is to be mobile on a hill or ridge top where there is hardwood growth close to clearings or cropland.
