What is a good 20ga reloading manual to start out with?
« on: August 02, 2012, 10:15:24 AM »
I never reloaded before. I have 20ga Mec jr 500 reloader that was gifted to me. And just found out the Walmart one town away sells powder and shot but I need a good recipe book to get me started. I am new to the 20ga and reloading. I am looking for some rabbit/small game loads and some 00 or 000 shot loads.
Thanks

http://www.hodgdon.com/ is as good a place to start as any. Also i think that Lyman has a good manual for shot shells. You could also check out  http://www.ballisticproducts.com this is my go to for my 16 Ga.

There isnt nearly as much shotgun data out there as rifle and pistol... The two major contributors are Lyman and Hodgdon.

You can get all the shotgun reloading info that you'll ever need on the powder manufacturers web sites.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.
