Maybe I missed it, but did Obama go to Louisiana and Mississippi to see the flooding and damage? I'm not seeing anything about disaster areas or FEMA or any of the usual stuff after a big storm.

I noticed that too, was wondering why he has not visited, or at least put up a show about what has happened there.

Guess he's too busy trying to figure out what to do about Romney and Ryan.

Something did show up in the news. It looks like the Romney tail is wagging the Obama dog here. Romney goes there today and Obama goes there Monday "after a campaign stop".

Really you guys are pissing & moaning about this when it was barelly a catagory 1 storm. Don't you have anything better to do than find the tiniest things to nit pick over? Why don't you put your energies into supporting your canidate of choice. The old adage of "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all! And just to let you know, I don't support either candidate.

He needs to be held accountable. The liberal commentators were making the argument that Romney is in Florida partying why black people drown in Louisiana. It cuts both ways. This is also a disaster not because of wind damage, but because of extensive flooding. It's been normal for a president, including Obama, to at least do a fly over in cases like this.

Or he could be like Bush, take Airforce 1 down a few times at what $100,000 per hr.fly around look and see what he can see on TV. As near as I can find out Airforce 1 with Bush on board never haulded 1 bottle of water or 1 mre for the victoms of poor planing. They should move New Orliens to higher ground. Whay should the tax payers pay for someone to live in a hole.

Obama is too busy campaigning, first VA then El Paso.  Now that Romney has been to New Orleans, obama has changed his schedule to go there Monday after he finishes campaigning in Texas.  It really won't be a how are your folks doing, can we help type thing.  It will be nothing but a campaign stop, here I am pulling for you, be sure to vote come November.
