Wife's New Rifle

My wife who had never expressed any interest in shooting recently said she wanted a pink rifle.  I bought her this 10/22 and we went to the range today.  She did very well on paper and shooting bits of clays on the berm.  I want to get her a Simmons 22MAG scope and a pink case.

If my wife sees that she may be wanting one. Pink is her favorite color so when she started shooting with me earlier this year I bought her some pink electronic ear muffs and have been looking at pink range bags.

+1 on the Simmons 22 Mag scope. I have a few for the rimfires and find them to be quite good. It is very good to get the wives involved in out sport, they vote too!

My granddaughter is wanting the pink camo for the Remington 597.

If my wife would start shooting with me again, I'D use the pink rifle.

This little Crickett single shot .22 infected 2 of my daughters and one her friends into plinkers.
 
a few yars back Id gone into the gun shop for some ammo, both daughters along, wandering round the shop as I was buying the cartridges, the shop keeper could hear excited girl wispering out of our view, we thought they may have broken somthing but found the two of them checking out the little stainless pink stocked .22, On impulse I bought it $180.
I figure that was the best investment I'd ever made in a kids .22, they vastly improved their shooting with the peep sights and its small size they soon became confident in their skills.
Any firearm that gets young girls interested and enjoying shooting sports is fine by me.
