Will todays levers handle the hot corbon 45lc +p magnum loads ?
Thinking about getting something really compact with 18" barrel.

I am looking for info on Corbon loads, what I did find was page 47 in Handloader magazine Aug98,about Buffalo Bore Ammo. They caution using their heavy 45Colt loads in Win 92 [only Ruger ,Colt Anaconda,TC pistols,Marlin and Win 94 rifles]can handle their ammo! I handload for my Win 92 in 45Colt using 18.0grs H110,mag primer, and Hornady 300hp/xtp.and have no trouble at all.I think the Corbon load only uses a 200gr bullet . Have you looked at a Trails End from Win?

Sorry,im talking about the same load im using in my blackhawk.
Its 300 gr cor bon JSP at 1300 fps i think...check out their web site for 45 colt +p magnum loads, think they have 3.The 200 gr loads are for personal defense.
